I used it to "transfer" leadership skill points between my characters, and also to make Jahan Hydro+Geo instead of Hydro+Aero. You can also change the amount of experience you have, or the HP you have available. It is able to change the number of character points, ability points, talent points and traits on hand, as well as change the level of currently used versions of these.
